Mr. Burkett's 10Time Project

This year, students in my Honors Chemistry course are using 10% of their class time to pursue a passion of theirs. Their pursuit, and final project, must have an audience in mind. Ideally their project will improve someone else's life. This might be through acquiring knowledge, serving the underserved, teaching a new skill, or creating a product. Not all of the students in Honors Chemistry will go on to pursue a degree or career in the sciences. I hope that through this project they discover that they can accomplish big things and to go after what they are passionate about.

Links to all of the student blogs can be accessed from the tabs above. Students working in groups are listed together. I tried to fit all of the ideas into 5 broad categorie. Please browse through all the amazing ideas these students have for the year. Also, feel free to leave a comment on their blog posts, as I am sure they would enjoy enjoy knowing that someone has read about their project.

You can use the "Search " button at the upper right to look for a specific student or project.
