20090202 Heavy Snow Fall

The beginning of February saw one of the heaviest snowfalls on the Surrey Square Park in years.

It was all rather sudden because only few days before the weather was seasonally cool but not really cold and above all dry.

Here some pictures from the Wild Life area taken only the 25th of January.

Then the weather turned very rapidly and over 21 cm (8 inches) of snow fell in few hours!!
