Notoriously known to work with recognised artisans, creating bespoke textiles, designer Nicholas Daley has teamed up with British quilting brand Lavenham to create a S/S 21 capsule collection. Following on from their previous collaboration, which saw both Daley and Lavenham collaborate on a UK Sound System-themed collection, Daley looked to reggae legend Peter Tosh as a starting point to draw relations from fashion's ever-changing bond with music.

The Lavenham capsule collection features two gilets, two jackets, and a couple of accessories and forms as part of Daley's Stepping Razor S/S 21, which also fittingly reflects British and Japanese design. To tie in Daley's references, the collection's imagery features London-based drummer from the Jazz group Sons of Kemet, Edward Hick, doing what he does best (yes, a few drums are in sight). Hick's relevance to the collection highlights the significance of music's relationship with fashion and Daley's inspirations behind the pieces designed (namely musician Peter Tosh).

Day 2 of Rekindle 2022 got underway when the Time Capsule was opened. The day began with the ribbon-cutting ceremony followed by the opening of the Time Capsule. The Time Capsule, a box that held numerous memories, was buried in the SFIT campus in 2012. With this enthusiasm, the staff, students, and a few SFIT alumni took advantage of the opening of the Time Capsule to reflect on the past and cherish all the milestones SFIT has marked in 2012. As the unboxing of the time capsule was live-streamed, Mr. Shelton Nazareth, Mr. Prathamesh Chodankar, Mr. Neel Chitalia, and Mr. Kinjalk Verma, the members of the panel, discussed about the process of making the Time Capsule a big hit, simultaneously. This discussion was moderated by Ms. Chrisanne Rebello. They discussed the background and history of the time capsule. They spoke about how they wished to find a means of preserving their legacy in college, where they could store their memories and best moments and revisit them after ten years. Personal letters for family members and friends, along with the concerned person's contact information, a city environment report, a map of the city, images of notable landmarks, and a 16 GB flash drive containing popular music videos and songs from 2012 were put in the time capsule.
