Mahatma Jyotirao Phule wrote the Book Gulamgiri. He was a thinker, anti-caste social reformer, social activist, and writer from Maharashtra. The Gulamgiri book was written in the Marathi language and was published in 1873. It is recognized as the very first book to discuss the caste system in India and how some castes were taken advantage of at the time.
