Features and Benefits
Collectorz.com Game Collector Pro 19.1.1 Multilingual has many features and benefits that make it easy and fun to use, such as:
Automatic data download: You can easily add games to your database by searching the online game database by title or by barcode. The software will then automatically download full game details like title, platform, description, genre, developer, publisher, release date, etc., as well as cover art, back drop art and trailer videos. You can also use the free CLZ Barry barcode scanner app to scan barcodes with your phone or tablet and send them to your PC.
Free cloud storage: You can use the free CLZ Cloud service to backup your game database online, synchronize your game data to other computers and mobile devices, and share your game list online with friends and family. You can also use the CLZ Games mobile app as a companion to the desktop software, as it lets you take your collection with you on your phone or tablet.
Efficient data editing: You can customize your entries with personal details like location, owner, purchase price/store/date, notes, your rating, etc. You can also edit your data using field defaults, batch editing, direct editing in main screen list, etc. You can also add missing cover images by searching the internet with the built-in Find Image Online tool.
Customization options: You can customize your database by renaming existing fields, or by creating your own User Defined Fields. You can also choose between multiple layouts for the main screen folder, list and details panels, as well as different templates for the game details panel. You can also switch between light, dark and system skins for all screens.
Loan management system: You can manage your loans with the integrated Loan Manager system, which lets you track which games you loaned and to whom. You can also print loan receipts and overdue notices.
Drawbacks and Limitations
Collectorz.com Game Collector Pro 19.1.1 Multilingual is not a perfect software, and it has some drawbacks and limitations that you should be aware of before buying it, such as:
Subscription fee: The software is not a one-time purchase, but a subscription-based service that costs USD $29.95 per year. This means that you have to pay every year to keep using the software and its online services. If you stop paying, you will lose access to the online game database, the CLZ Cloud service and the software updates.
Data accuracy: The software relies on the online game database for downloading game details and cover art. However, this database is not always accurate or complete, as it is maintained by users who can submit their own data. This means that you might encounter errors or missing information in some games, especially rare or obscure ones. You can always edit or add your own data manually, but this can be time-consuming and tedious.
Platform support: The software is only available for Windows PC users. There is no version for Mac or Linux users. There is also no web-based version that you can access from any browser. You have to download and install the software on your PC to use it.
