If you want a reliable, long-lasting transmitter for your home stereo or TV that works seamlessly with existing Bluetooth headphones and speakers, choose 1Mii 5.3; if you need the absolute latest audio fidelity for gaming on a PS5, mobile devices, or sharing sound across multiple earbuds simultaneously, choose eppfun Le Audio USB.
• 1Mii 5.3: The standout strength is its versatile dual-mode design that transforms non-Bluetooth TVs and stereos into wireless hubs with up to 18 hours of battery life per charge. Its biggest trade-off is the reliance on older Bluetooth 5.3 standards compared to the bleeding-edge tech in newer models. This pick is for anyone who wants a plug-and-play solution for living room entertainment without needing the newest smartphone or console.
• eppfun Le Audio USB: The clear winner here is its cutting-edge Bluetooth 5.4 chip and support for Auracast, allowing one source to stream to dozens of receivers or high-fidelity LDAC-compatible earbuds. The trade-off is that it requires specific device compatibility for lossless audio and lacks the flexible RX (receiver) mode to play music through old speakers. This pick is for audiophiles, gamers, and tech enthusiasts who prioritize low latency and crystal clear calls over basic connectivity.
The 1Mii 5.3 is designed primarily for the person who has a "dumb" TV or an older home stereo system that simply does not have built-in Bluetooth. Its core function is to act as a bridge, taking the analog audio output from a 3.5mm aux port or RCA jacks and converting it into a stable wireless signal. This makes it an ideal companion for glasses wearers who prefer using their own high-quality noise-canceling headphones rather than the tinny, uncomfortable built-in speakers on a television. The ability to switch between Transmitter (TX) and Receiver (RX) modes means you aren't locked into just one use case; you can send audio from your TV to your headphones, or pull music from your phone and blast it through a vintage speaker system.
Battery endurance is where this unit truly shines for daily commuters and travelers. Whether you are on a plane, in a gym, or watching a marathon movie session at home, the reliability of Bluetooth 5.3 ensures a connection that stays stable even when moving around the house. The touch controls add a layer of convenience, letting you manage playback without fumbling with a phone screen.
However, if you are looking for the absolute highest fidelity audio formats or need to connect to a modern gaming console like a PS5 for competitive gaming, this might feel slightly dated compared to newer standards. While aptX Low Latency helps reduce sync issues for movies and casual gaming, it may not match the sub-millisecond performance required by hardcore competitive players. Furthermore, it does not support the new Auracast broadcasting features that allow for multi-device streaming. If your primary goal is to upgrade an old stereo or give your grandparents wireless access to their TV, the 1Mii 5.3 is a robust, no-nonsense tool that gets the job done without fuss.

The eppfun Le Audio USB is built for the modern ecosystem where high-resolution audio and low-latency performance are non-negotiable. At its heart lies the Qualcomm 5181 chip running the latest Bluetooth 5.4 standard, which offers a significant leap in stability, speed, and range over previous generations. This device is specifically engineered for users who demand crystal clear calls and lossless audio streaming via LDAC or aptX Lossless protocols. If you are using a smartphone or laptop that supports these codecs, you will notice a distinct difference in audio clarity, making it a top contender for those seeking the best extra bass in ear earbuds for glasses wearers who refuse to compromise on sound quality due to fit or comfort.
One of the most game-changing features here is the support for Auracast broadcast mode. Unlike traditional transmitters that are limited to connecting two devices, this unit can theoretically support over 100 receiving devices simultaneously. This opens up possibilities for family gatherings where everyone can listen to the same movie or podcast on their own earbuds, or for public spaces like theaters and exhibitions where shared audio experiences are common. The drive-free compatibility with Windows, Linux, macOS, Android, Switch, and PS5 means you don't need to install drivers or deal with complex pairing processes; you simply plug it in and start listening.
That said, this device is less flexible than the 1Mii regarding legacy equipment. It functions strictly as a transmitter, meaning it cannot take an audio signal from a speaker and convert it to Bluetooth. You also need to ensure your receiving headphones actually support the specific codec you want to use; otherwise, it will default to SBC, negating some of the premium benefits. This product is best suited for gamers, audiophiles, and tech-savvy users who want to future-proof their audio setup with the latest connectivity standards.
