The process of applying for caste validity form in Maharashtra has been made online by the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Research and Training Institute (BARTI). The applicants can fill the online application form on the official website of BARTI and upload the scanned copies of the required documents. The applicants can also track the status of their application online and download the caste validity form once it is approved by the committee.
The documents required for applying for caste validity form in Maharashtra are as follows:
Passport size photo of the applicant (for bonafide purpose)
Allotment letter or confirmation letter from DTE (Directorate of Technical Education) for admission to educational courses
Leaving certificate from primary school
Caste certificate issued by competent authority
Affidavit of claimant/parent(s) in prescribed format
Affidavit to be produced along with caste scrutiny application form in prescribed format
Family tree (vanshaval) showing relationship with direct paternal ancestors
Proof of residence such as ration card, voter ID card, Aadhaar card, etc.
Proof of identity such as PAN card, driving license, passport, etc.
Any other document as per the requirement of the committee
The applicants can download the application form and the affidavit formats from the BARTI website . The applicants have to fill the application form in Marathi language and attach a self-addressed envelope with Rs. 25 stamp on it. The applicants have to submit the hard copies of the application form and the documents to the respective district caste scrutiny committee in person or by post. The committee will then scrutinize the application and issue the caste validity form within six months. The caste validity form will be sent to the applicant by post or email or can be collected in person from the committee office.
