TR43293 — 20-INCH CARBINE

Serial number TR43293 is the shorter carbine configuration. It features a 20-inch octagonal barrel, full-length magazine tube, walnut stock and forearm, Theodore Roosevelt portrait medallion, and the special commemorative receiver treatment. Detailed photographs document the serial number, receiver engraving, barrel markings, wood, forearm, muzzle, action, metal finish, and overall condition.

TR43294 — 26-INCH RIFLE

Serial number TR43294 is the long-rifle configuration. It features a 26-inch heavy octagonal barrel, full-length magazine tube, walnut stock and forearm, Theodore Roosevelt portrait medallion, and matching commemorative receiver treatment. Detailed photographs document the serial number, receiver engraving, barrel markings, wood, forearm, muzzle, action, metal finish, and overall condition. Its original warranty card is included among the documented factory materials.

THEODORE ROOSEVELT COMMEMORATIVE FEATURES

These Winchester Model 94s were issued in 1969 to honor Theodore Roosevelt, the 26th President of the United States. Both rifles display Roosevelt-themed receiver decoration, an American eagle, presidential references, special TR-prefix serial numbers, nickel-finished commemorative receiver components, blued barrels and magazine tubes, octagonal barrels, walnut furniture, traditional sights, and Theodore Roosevelt portrait medallions in the buttstocks.

CONDITION

Both firearms were represented as New Old Stock when purchased, and no evidence inconsistent with that representation has been observed. The photographs are intended to document the rifles carefully, including their engraving, serial numbers, wood, metal finish, actions, barrels, muzzles, packaging, and factory materials.

The original boxes, sleeves, and outer shipping carton display normal age and storage wear consistent with packaging from 1969. Please use the photographs as the primary description of exact cosmetic condition and included materials.

The set includes the original illustrated individual boxes, commemorative sleeves, Winchester and Theodore Roosevelt literature, paperwork, cards, warranty material, and the original two-gun outer factory carton. The factory carton is marked for both 43293 and 43294 and is an especially important part of the matched presentation.

COLLECTOR SIGNIFICANCE

Individual Theodore Roosevelt commemoratives are encountered regularly, but a complete consecutive rifle-and-carbine pair retaining the corresponding boxes, paperwork, and shared two-gun factory carton is considerably more desirable.
