Tyler Jackson (Member)
Tyler has been doing robotics since he was 11. He started off in 2012 with 4-H Lego Robotics and worked his way up to Extreme Steam. He lives in Ridgeley WV, and is homeschooled. Tyler came back to the team because he enjoys the satisfaction of building the robot from the ground up. In his spare time he enjoys reading, videogames and running.
Christian Cimaglia (Member)
Christian has been doing robotics since he was 12. He started off in 2015 with 4-H Lego Robotics before working his way up to Extreme Steam. He lives in Ridgeley WV, and attends Frankfort High School. Christian came back to the team because he had a great time last year and wants to continue building on to the team's legacy. Outside of robotics Christian likes to play retro videogames, run cross-country, and practice karate.
Natalie Bender (Member)
This is Natalie's first year of robotics. She lives in Accident, MD and is homeschooled. Natalie joined the team so she could learn and have fun. In her spare time, she likes to play cards and solve mental puzzles.
Kristen Bender (Member)
This is Kristen's first year of robotics. She also lives in Accident, MD and is homeschooled. Kristen joined the team for the experience in different fields. Outside robotics Kristen enjoys doing art and dance. She also likes people and cats.
Rich Bender (Mentor)
Rich has been mentoring robotics teams for 8 years. The first team he mentored was the 4-H Techno-Clovers. He lives in Accident, MD and graduated from Northern High School and Garrett College. Rich works at Pillar Innovations as an Engineer, and is the Manager of Engineering for the team of Engineers employed at the company. His current hobby of interest is restoring a 1959, model 620, John Deere tractor; providing much hands on experience, along with giving some insight into the design thought process during the 50's decade.
