MSgt Nicole Heussner is your Retention Office Manager.
Note: Retention Office does not re-enlist members. You'll work primarily with your CSS Team. Check out the process below.
Before starting your Re-enlistment process, have you met with your UCA? Your UCA has a survey for you to complete 9-12 months out from your ETS. Leadership wants to hear from you! Did you have a chance to do that? (Read about the UCA Program here).
HOW DO I REENLIST?
STEP ONE:
Work with your CSS team to verify your eligibility for re-enlistment.
Your CSS team has a Reenlistment Worksheet that has a spot for your Commander to sign & a spot for me to sign.
Your Commander needs to have their portion completed first, otherwise I won't know what you would be eligible for.
NOTE: Your CSS also has access to a tracker that tells them if you are eligible for an incentive and if so, which one.
STEP TWO:
After your Commander signs off on your Reenlistment Worksheet, email me your Reenlistment Worksheet. Jeffrey.Sprick.2@us.af.mil
There is a section for me to review, mark and sign.
I will mark which incentives you are eligible to apply for based off what your commander stated, sign and email it back to you.
You may need to send me FITNESS and PCARS reports. If you need help finding those click here.
If you are planning on applying for the State Reenlistment Bonus it is VERY important you read the brief here, if the process is not followed your State Reenlistment Bonus will not be approved.
Note: BONUS PROGRAMS LINKED HERE
STEP THREE:
Schedule your re-enlistment with your CSS team and let me know (by email) which date you're reenlisting on and how long you are re-enlisting for.
There are mass-reenlistments over Drill, or you can coordinate another time with your CSS as is best for you.
NOTE: I do not conduct re-enlistments, I offer re-enlistment incentives based off what your commander authorizes and what you choose to do.
STEP FOUR:
You should know and understand your incentives BEFORE re-enlisting, that is why the Reenlistment Worksheet needs to be sent to me in Step 2.
Before you raise your hand and sign your name on a new contract, be sure you understand your eligibility.
If you are applying for the State Reenlistment Bonus, you AND myself or MSgt Sarah Lee, must CAC sign the contract on the day you raise your hand and swear in.
Note: Incentive programs can change without notice.
This website is reviewed daily and updated quickly after a program changes.
