Hi, you've reached Bala's website. The website is focused on my research work and interests.

I was born in Thirunelveli and did my schooling in Chennai, India. I thrive on good food and great company.

I am a PhD student in the collab lab at Virginia Tech. I completed my Masters in Robotics at Georgia Tech, where I worked in the Georgia Tech Systems Research Laboratory. Before that, I did my undergraduate degree in Aerospace Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, where I worked in the Intelligence guidance & control laboratory.

My academic and research interests lie primarily in Robotics, particularly in Motion planning, Nonlinear control, and Autonomous vehicles.

I also worked in Joulea, where I developed a Lidar-based localization system and a Velocity Controller for a Quadcopter to carry out building Inspections. You can find out more about my work by exploring the website.
