The HP ePrint Setup utilizes the powerful Cloud Service to enable the users to print from any part of the world. Activate ePrint on your HP printer to enjoy the benefits of this modern printing solution. Also for the Google Cloud Print, you need to have a Google account, and the printer should be connected to a well-stable internet network.
Cloud Print is a service that connects your printers to the web and makes you able to have prints from anywhere and at any time.
To activate the Google Cloud Print service, follow the below steps:
Google Cloud print enabled HP printers to connect directly to the web.
Ensure that your printer is either Colour ready or is ePrint capable.
Now open Google chrome
In a new tab open chrome:// devices
Select My Devices and check if your printer model is listed under the list.
If it is present in the list your printer is already registered with Google Cloud Print.
You can check registered Google Cloud Print printers under the Manage option.
If your printer is listed under New Devices, click Register and print a confirmation page.
Note: Sometimes, for some printer users may be asked for the registration from the Printer Control Panel.
But if your printer is not listed then you need to ensure that it is connected well with the network.
To print the document:
Open Google Chrome and log in to your Google account.
Select Google Cloud Print and choose the Print option.
Now click “Select a file from my computer” under upload a file option.
Open the document that you want to print and click Print.
By following the above steps you can print your document and images using an HP printer from any device. If you have pictures on your phone that you want to print, you don’t need to transfer them to the computer. You only need to activate the Google Cloud Print option and select the document that you want to print. You can use this feature in your computer, laptop, smartphone, and other Cloud prints enabled devices.
