Fun Kickoff Event - 1:30pm

We'll draw from our grab-bag of infuriatingly difficult challenges for a fun, 1-hour pickleball-related event that will NOT be regulation pickleball! Will it be a “skill carnival,” with six different pickleball-related skills? Will it be a “dink” tournament? Will it be a round of two-bounce pickleball? The only way to know will be to show up! Everyone is welcome, and you do not need a partner -- just show up before 1:30pm with your pickleball paddle and shoes and you're in!

Bring-Your-Own-Partner Ladies Doubles Tournament!

Ladies "A" and "Open" brackets: Check-in opens at 7:45am and ends at 8:15am sharp! Bring your partner to the check-in desk and then warm up on the courts before we hold the briefing and send the first teams out for the first draws of the competition.

Ladies "B" bracket: Check-in opens at 11:45am and ends at 12:15pm sharp! Bring your partner to the check-in desk and then warm up on the courts before we hold the briefing and send the first teams out for the first draws of the competition.

We'll run a round-robin competition with a finals round for top finishers. Bracket sizes and finals format will depend on the number of teams entered for each event. Our goal is that each player will play between 60 and 80 points of pickleball plus the finals matches if they are among the finals qualifiers.

12pm (approx.): Tournament Raffle! Be there for all the excitement as winning tickets are drawn for the big tournament prize raffle and the 50/50 cash drawing!

After the Sunday tournament, join your fellow competitors for a post-tournament Happy Hour by the courts, and then off to the pool for a refreshing clothes-free cool-down!

Rain / weather: In case of rain or adverse weather on tournament day, we will take up to a 1-hour delay if needed. After the first weather delay, the tournament director may take another 30-minute delay if conditions are likely to improve. At the end of the second delay, if there is no chance of completing the tournament safely, the tournament will be cancelled. 

Ball: The tournament ball will be the Onix Pure 2 outdoor yellow.
