This workshop will be the 10th workshop as our regular EAPS-net meetings which
have been held in Japan, China, Korea since 2006. The main topics of the workshop
are planet searches and asteroseismology that have been carried out in East-Asia
using precise radial velocity measurements. We also welcome presentations on
instrumentations, analysis techniques, theoretical studies, and other topics related
to high resolution spectroscopy and other astronomical researches. We will discuss
future collaborations in this field. This workshop will be held on October 29 - November 2,
2017 at Yamato conference room located in the heart of the historic city Nara, Japan.

Omiya-san plans to guide you to a dinner at a restaurant on Sunday evening. Please feel free to join it.
All you have to do is to come in front of Kintetsu-Nara station by 6pm. At this moment candidate restaurant is
"奈良めし 板焚屋 https://r.gnavi.co.jp/62c9bn490000/ ". Of course you can enjoy your own evening in NARA.
On November 1, we plan to go to Nara park to see historical temples.
The fee is about 3,000 JPY per person. It starts at 9 AM and ends at about 1PM.
Details will be announced during the workshop.
If you would like to visit any other places, Japanese participants can help you to go there.
We also have a plan to visit Dr. Kunio Noguchi who is a Prof. Emeritus of NAOJ and lives in Nara city.
Those who wish to visit him should let me know her/his wish. I will arrange a visit together.
Expenses :
Workshop dinner : 5,500 Yen Yamato-an（やまと庵）HP
Participants are responsible for accommodations including excursion and travels.
Restaurants of the lunch and dinner during the workshop will be arranged
by LOC and LOC will collect money from participants for the meals.
This comes from the policy and rule of the Japanese research funds and institutions.
