The meaning of life is to become who you truly are meant to be by developing yourself in a way in your inner being to become something in the afterlife

and become a completely different being in a ascended form

yes the balance can be difficult however people for example

necessarily define them but the person they have become
those people have learned to manage great wealth and assets
usually from a disciplined mind and control of their mind.
people take for granted what work had to be done to become wealthy
therefore the meaning of life , is about who you become
your inner being your spirit the journey and the spirit
that becomes more infinitely interesting in the afterlife.

these are the things that Gods and angels are looking for in people
