ChaeWon Baek

ChaeWon Baek: 백채원 is my name in Hangul (the Korean alphabet). Baek ChaeWon is the romanization of it. My last name, Baek, is pronounced as in "back." My first name has two syllables: 채(Chae) sounds like "chair" but without "r" sound and 원(Won) is pronounced as in "one."

Welcome! I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Tufts University. I received my Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley in 2021.


My research interests are Macroeconomics, Macro-labor, and Macroeconometrics.
