RISE Teams
The success of RISE depends on the student teams and how well they function. The purpose of teams is twofold: teams provide an opportunity for student engagement and service, and teams raise funds and awareness for the cause of fighting cancer. All students are encouraged to join a team. Anyone can choose to be a team captain as well. If a student is not on a team and wishes to join one, come see Mrs. Sweeney or Mrs. Jones in room A241.

IMPORTANT TEAM INFORMATION
Register your team first.
Go to Room A241 to get your team registration form and information.
Team Captains are required to attend all Team Captain meetings
Teams must turn in their fundraising plan for approval BEFORE they execute the plan.
Team Captains should communicate with their team members regularly.
You will sign up for a tent spot and plan at the March Team Captains Meeting.
You may also turn in money at team captain meetings. All checks should be made payable to VHHS.

· Help someone give a birthday party
· Help plant bulbs/trees
· Make & send candy-grams or singing-grams
· Teach/help older people with tech skills. (Offer to show them how to do Instagram, Facebook, emails, games)
· Make a picture slide show or an Apple photo book for someone who doesn’t know how.
· Walk your neighbor’s dogs, dog sit, scoop poop
· If you are in a sport, hold a mini-clinic for young kids.
· Set up a coffee shop in the lobby
· Collect $ for a teacher to dye or shave hair.
· Change Jars in Businesses
· BE CREATIVE!!!
