About me
About me
First of all, I am thrilled to be at Vestavia Hills High School. I have been teaching at Shades Valley High School and Jefferson County IB for the last 11 years. Courses I've taught include: World History, U.S. History II, AP Human Geography, AP U.S. Government & Politics, and AP Macroeconomics. I have also coached girls' soccer ('06 - '11) and boys' bowling ('15 - '17).
I graduated from Jefferson County IB and earned my B.S. in Psychology and minor in Religion from Birmingham-Southern College and then earned my M. Ed. in Secondary Social Studies from UAB.
My wife and I have been married for 11 years and have three kids.
My hobbies include: trail running, bowling, and disc golf.
