Automated Fare Collection System Using GPS and QR code, Published Date: 23/1/2018

An automatic fare collection system using QR Code. To Develop a system that designates a QR code to each traveller and using this QR code a Traveller can travel through the public transportation system. User has to scan-in the QR code at the time of boarding and has to scan-out the QR code at time of departure. It will calculate the fare for the distance traversed and will generate payment request which will be deducted from Mobile Wallet. The Trip will only start if the minimum balance in mobile wallet is greater than maximum fare amount. Our solution will use Mobile App & Bus-Cards with QR code embedded in it.
