What is Charms?

Charms is a cloud-based office assistant that tracks student fundraising accounts, instrument inventory, music libraries and much more!

Why Charms?

Keeping track of over 300 students fundraising and trip information is a lot of work and involves copious amounts of imputing data. Charms will not only create profiles for students to keep records of escrow accounts, but parents will have the ability to see how much money their students have in the account.

Instead of having to create personalized permission forms for Music in the Parks (that often get lost in backpack black holes...) Charms will email invoices to parents when it is time to pay for the trip.

Charms also gives the option to pay for the trip ELECTRONICALLY using the safe and secure Paypal. We are HOPING to have this feature available for Music in the Parks 2020.

What do I have to do?

Nothing...yet...

We have imputed all students and their current escrow balance. You will receive information about how to set up an account (if you choose to). The next thing is to wait until the spring for when you receive your invoice for Music in the Parks in your inbox :-)

Wait...personal information is online??

While Charms let's us store information such as addresses, telephone numbers, etc., we have chosen to only store names and email addresses. From the Charms website...

We don't sell advertising on Charms, and neither do you. We don't use web trackers or other intrusive software, and we don't sell our usage statistics. Your relationship is with us, and us alone. Your members will appreciate that you are not selling their personal details to a paid advertiser.
