Teaching is my true passion, and I can’t wait to dive into this school year with your awesome kids! We’ll tackle any curveballs that come our way as a team, and remember, keeping a positive attitude is our secret weapon!

At home, I’m happily married to my husband, Chris. We’ve got two amazing kids, Chloe and John. When I’m not busy teaching, you can find me cooking up a storm, devouring a good book, or getting my groove on with my Peloton. I also love exploring new places, hitting the Jersey shore, laughing at comedy shows, cheering at sports events, and spending quality time with family and friends.

I graduated from Montclair State University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in English, a History minor, and a Teacher of English Certification. I also have a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Adolescent Literacy from Concordia University - Portland.

This year marks my 16th in the teaching game, mostly with 7th and 8th graders. I’m thrilled to be teaching 7th grade—it’s my favorite! My goal is to ignite a passion for learning in my students so they become lifelong learners. I’m really looking forward to meeting everyone and making this year fantastic!
