What is CanSat

CanSat is an initiative of the European Space Agency that challenges students across Europe to build and launch a mini-satellite the size of a soda can. A CanSat is a simulation of a real satellite, built into the volume and shape of a soda can. The challenge for students is to adapt all the major subsystems found on a satellite, such as power, sensors, and a communication system.
