Exceptional Tots

Exceptional Tots operates as part of California's Early Start Program. Special Education services provided are designed based on the Individualized Family Services Plan (IFSP).

Our Goals:

• Identify infants and toddlers, from birth to three years of age, who are at risk of having special needs.

• Provide a comprehensive assessment profile that focuses on children's strength and areas of need. Areas of development are: language, motor, self-care, cognition, and social/emotional.

• Provide early intervention services to children who have identified or suspected delays, as well as their families, to maximize each child's development through home visits and programs in appropriate settings.

• Work in partnership with parents, respecting the individuality, diversity and independence of each family.

• Provide family-focused services designed to enhance the family's ability to meet the special needs of their child. Collaborate with other agencies and professionals to better serve children and families.
