What?

One School, One book is designed to create a shared reading experience within an elementary school community. A chapter book is chosen, every student and staff in the elementary school receives a copy if the book. Activities at school coordinate, promote, and enrich the shared reading experience.

Why?

To create a culture of literacy. Research shows that reading aloud to children will help them to become better readers.

Who?

The entire school family and community are invited to participate in One School, One Book.

When?

Be on the lookout! Books will be passed out in time for Reading Month!
