Summer Learning Calendars
Research shows that students who do not engage their brains over the summer lose one to three months of their learning. Reading, writing, and practicing math daily will prevent this summer slide. We have created summer learning activities on the attached calendar to help your child practice reading, writing, and math.
Please initial on each activity that you complete. These activities are created for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Feel free to adjust the activities to meet your child’s needs. Students who complete 30 or more activities will get to participate in a big celebration after school starts. Please be sure to notice our summer reading events at the Bayside Library. We look forward to seeing you there!
Please take some time to look over our summer learning calendar and plan to participate in it over the summer. Celebrate your child’s growth this year by helping them to practice what they have learned.
We wish you a relaxing and peaceful summer.
