Faculty and students who are doing research related to the life sciences at colleges/universities in the mid-Hudson Valley (typically Bard, Marist, Mount Saint Mary, SUNY New Paltz, and Vassar) gather once a year for a symposium that includes a keynote address and student poster session with food. It's a great way for faculty to catch up with and/or meet colleagues at area schools and a great opportunity for research students to present posters at a regional meeting.
