John Williams

Governor


John is lead governor for Curriculum and Quality.  His background is in community-focused adult education as Education Director for the Workers’ Educational Association, the UK’s largest voluntary sector provider of tertiary education. He is also experienced in leading change management and organisational change programmes. Currently he is Chief Executive of a large East Sussex charity which works with deprived and marginalised communities.


John lives in Brighton with his husband and their Gordon Setter puppy, Ari, so is often to be found walking the South Downs. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
