Privacybeleid — FitMatch

FitMatch ("wij", "ons") koppelt sporters aan personal trainers. Dit privacybeleid legt uit welke gegevens we verzamelen, waarom, en welke rechten je hebt. FitMatch is bedoeld voor gebruikers van 18 jaar en ouder.
1. Welke gegevens we verzamelen
- Accountgegevens: e-mailadres en naam.
- Profielgegevens: rol (sporter of trainer), doelen/specialiteiten, niveau, beschikbaarheid, plaats/omgeving, budget of lesprijs, biografie en foto's die je uploadt.
- Locatie bij benadering: om trainers/sporters bij jou in de buurt te tonen (alleen met jouw toestemming).
- Berichten: de chatberichten die je met je matches uitwisselt.
- Boekingen, reviews en voortgang: geboekte lessen, beoordelingen die je plaatst en voortgang/check-ins die je zelf bijhoudt.
- Technische gegevens: een push-notificatietoken (voor meldingen) en basis-gebruiksgegevens voor de werking en beveiliging van de app.
2. Waarvoor we ze gebruiken
- Je koppelen aan passende trainers of sporters (matching).
- Chatten, lessen boeken en de agenda beheren.
- Meldingen sturen over matches, berichten en boekingen.
- De app laten werken, misbruik voorkomen en de beveiliging waarborgen.
3. Betalingen
Credits worden gekocht via de in-app aankopen van Apple (App Store) of Google (Play Store). Die betalingen worden door Apple/Google verwerkt; wij ontvangen of bewaren geen betaalgegevens zoals je kaartnummer.
4. Met wie we gegevens delen
We verkopen je gegevens nooit. We delen ze alleen met dienstverleners die nodig zijn om de app te laten werken: Supabase (database en hosting), Apple & Google (inloggen, in-app aankopen en push-notificaties) en Expo (techniek voor de app en meldingen). Andere gebruikers zien alleen de gegevens die je bewust op je profiel zet en de berichten die je hen stuurt.
5. Bewaren en beveiligen
We bewaren je gegevens zolang je account bestaat. Gegevens worden versleuteld verzonden en beschermd met toegangsregels zodat alleen jij (en waar nodig je match) erbij kunnen.
6. Jouw rechten
Je kunt je gegevens inzien en aanpassen in de app. Je kunt je account en alle bijbehorende gegevens verwijderen via de app-instellingen. Vragen over je gegevens? Neem contact op via het onderstaande adres.
7. Kinderen
FitMatch is niet bedoeld voor personen jonger dan 18 jaar en we verzamelen niet bewust gegevens van hen.
8. Wijzigingen
We kunnen dit beleid bijwerken. Bij belangrijke wijzigingen passen we de datum bovenaan aan.

FitMatch connects members with personal trainers. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your rights. FitMatch is intended for users aged 18 and over.
1. Data we collect
- Account: email address and name.
- Profile: role (member or trainer), goals/specialties, level, availability, area, budget or session price, bio and photos you upload.
- Approximate location: to show trainers/members near you (only with your permission).
- Messages: the chat messages you exchange with your matches.
- Bookings, reviews and progress: booked sessions, reviews you post and progress you track.
- Technical: a push-notification token and basic usage data for app functionality and security.
2. How we use it
- Match you with suitable trainers or members.
- Chat, book sessions and manage the calendar.
- Send notifications about matches, messages and bookings.
- Operate the app, prevent abuse and keep it secure.
3. Payments
Credits are purchased through Apple or Google in-app purchases. Those payments are handled by Apple/Google; we do not receive or store payment details such as your card number.
4. Who we share data with
We never sell your data. We only share it with service providers needed to run the app: Supabase (database/hosting), Apple & Google (sign-in, purchases, push), and Expo (app/notification tooling). Other users only see what you deliberately put on your profile and the messages you send them.
5. Retention & security
We keep your data while your account exists. Data is encrypted in transit and protected by access rules so only you (and where relevant your match) can access it.
6. Your rights
You can view and edit your data in the app, and delete your account and all associated data from the app settings. Questions? Contact us below.
7. Children
FitMatch is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
