DO THE FOLLOWING: (1/2 Page of Copied Notes and 2 Student Notes Per day)
Copy the yellow highlighted text onto the 'TEACHER GUIDED NOTES' section of the notes pages into your workbook. The headings in your workbook will match the presentation, so this should be easy to do.
Use the lecture videos or this presentation to complete the 'TEACHER GUIDED NOTES' notes on pages 43, 44, 45, and 46 before the unit is over.
Add 4 STUDENT NOTES to the right of each notes page after you have copied the teacher notes to get credit in your Student Workbook. The end of each lecture video tells you how you can do this.
DO THE FOLLOWING FOR EACH VOCABULARY TERM: (1 Per Day)
Complete the 'STEP 1: Write Paragraph Yellow Sentence Information' column on page 40 using the vocabulary paragraph provided. The weekly Nearpod will also help with this using prompts to remind you what to do.
Complete the 'STEP 2: Complete Fill-in-the-Blank' column on page 41 using the information from the definition and paragraph to help you. The weekly Nearpod will also help with this using the drag and drop tools.
Complete the 'STEP 3: Write Answer to Vocab Question' column on page 41 by writing down the correct answer to the vocabulary question. The weekly Nearpod will also help with this as you can see what the correct answer is.
DO THE FOLLOWING: (1 C.E.R. Per Week)
Read the directions to understand what you will discuss in your unit C.E.R. practice examples. Take note of what information goes into each sentence.
Follow the Daily Activities Table to to see the pace you should complete these so you are finished with each one before they are graded. Your C.E.R. Practice Doc will be checked one time after Edpuzzle 8 for grading. Once you receive your grade there is no changning it, so stay on task and caught up! There is a complete example at the end of the Practice Doc that shows you what to do.
When you complete a C.E.R. on your Practice Doc, write it into your Student Workbook on the correct pages. This is part of the Student Workbook check, so do not forget this step. Good practice!
When you are done with the C.E.R, check for errors and use the Grading Rubric to see what you think you would get on the test. Remember, the C.E.R. test will have a different question and text evidence from the practice, so you cannot just memorize your answer. Review the process continously to improve your skills.
