Please be ready to discuss and test over this novel.
Accelerated English 8 will challenge you to become a better reader, writer, and thinker. We will explore different genres of novels and other short stories, poems, and plays. You will write a research paper, and explore creative and analytical writing, among other types. Reading and grammar will become a daily habit. I'm really excited to get to know you; it will be a great year!

Small binder (or a section in another binder)

$3 for reading incentives
pencils and pens
highlighters (different colors would be helpful)
Optional, but appreciated - Kleenex, paper towels, and Clorox wipes
This will be my 17th year teaching, but my 4th year here at Valley View! I am originally from Arizona, went to college to play volleyball at Missouri State University, and made my way to Jonesboro when I got married to my college sweetheart. I have two boys, Keaton and Eli, and a cat named Remi.
