In Year 2, the children consider how Muslims show commitment to God through regular prayer and completing Hajj. In previous years, the children have also considered how other religions such as Christianity, Buddhism, Sikhism and Judaism show a commitment to God.

The children will return to learning about how Islam in the Summer term of Year 6 when they consider whether a belief in Akhirah (life after death) helps Muslims to lead a better life.
