This week's student of the week, nominated by Mrs. Schmitz is Autumn Smith. Autumn comes to class every day with a can-do attitude and willingness to challenge herself and support her classmates. She also advocates for herself by scheduling time to meet with her teachers to discuss how she can progress her skills in her classes. Autumn leads by example and is so fun to have as a student!
This week's senior of the week, nominated by Mrs. Omand is Trent Adams. Trent is one of the most hard-working AP Students. He always puts in extra time even when he's already on top of all of his schoolwork. He makes teaching easy! Congratulations Trent!

Clubs & Sports Announcements
Are you interested in becoming a member of next year's Vaca High Drumline? Drumline is holding auditions on May 30th from 6-8pm in room 53. Audition packets are in the front office and they are to be filled out and turned in on May 23rd in room 53. Teacher recommendations are required so it's better to get a hold of these sooner. NO experience is needed! If you have a strong rhythm and good energy, we want you for the Vaca High Drumline."
