Anna Agnes Nagy was born in Budapest and from an early age she became fascinated by the cello and soon took lessons at the music school in Szentendre.
In high school , she took part in the Hungarian National Conservatory Students Competition and received an award . She was subsequently admitted to the Franz Liszt University of Music, where she completed her master's degree cum laude.
From 2011 she followed an extra master's program at the Maastricht Conservatory with Marc Vossen. Until the end of 2014 she followed the Graduate Quartet program at Montclair State University, New Jersey (USA).
During her studies she participated in several masterclasses in Hungary, Spain and Switzerland and toured with various symphony orchestras in Japan, China and Brazil. She also played in the baroque ensemble Siciliano, but also during the premiere of the musical Chess. She played with the string orchestra Concerto Malaga, Antwerp Symphony Orchestra and Philharmonie Zuidnederland.
Currently she plays with Sinfonieorchester Aachen.
