Q: What are your physics/science interests?
I am broadly interested in theory, with particular interest in gravity. I am currently trying to figure out if I want to explore that interest in the context of relativity or high-energy theory.
Q: What are your other interests?
I like to do martial arts; I have a second-degree black belt in Tang Soo Do and a first-degree black belt in Hapkido. I also like working out.
Q: What would you like to do after college?
After undergrad, I plan on going to grad school. After that, I will probably do a string of postdocs until I can get a faculty position at a university.
Q: Tell us one strange but interesting fact about yourself?
I have seven cardigans.
Q: What first sparked your interest in Physics?
I have always liked math, and I want to know everything that I can about the universe. The biggest appeal is that everything that I learn is applicable everywhere.
Q: If you could have any pet, what would it be?
Assuming that I have the correct amount of land for it to live happily and that it will not kill me, probably a tiger or some other big cat.
Q: If you had a free month and unlimited funds, how would you spend your time?
I would try as many expensive sports and activities as possible. Like skydiving, hydrofoil boarding, and skiing as many mountains as I can.
Q: If you could get a grant to study anything, what would it be?
I would like to be able to develop new theoretical models and then design extremely precise experiments to test them. The experiments would be performed by a team of experimentalists.
