Q: What are your other interests?
During my free time, I like to play video games. I consider myself to be a huge gamer. One of my favorite games of all time is the Hitman franchise. I am also an avid fan of the Sims. Aside from gaming, I like to knit, read and play my Bass Clarinet.

After I finish undergrad, I would like to obtain my PhD. I would like to pursue a career in academia. I want to become a physics professor and researcher.
Q: Tell us one strange but interested fact about yourself?
One strange but interesting fact about me is that I once owned a pet Axolotl named Penny.
Q: What first sparked your interest in Physics?
My interest in physics first became apparent when I was eight years old. I always had an interest in science but didn’t know which discipline I liked the most. One day, I decided to watch NOVA and Brian Greene’s The Elegant Universe came on. I was fascinated with everything in the documentary. From that moment on, I knew that physics was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

If given the opportunity I would love to have a pet Penguin. Penguins are honestly one of my favorite animals. They are smart, playful, and loyal.

Q: If you could get a grant to study anything, what would it be?
I would utilize the grant to study how to improve physics for students of color and underrepresented minorities. This is currently something that I am trying to help improve at my home institution and it is an issue that is extremely important to me.
