Q: What are your physics/science interests?
Particle physics, specifically supersymmetry, interests me the most. As I continue with physics and learn more, biophysics relating to the moon and other planets is also of interest to me.
Q: What are your other interests?
I love building things, especially circuits and anything involving wood. If I have a chance to saw or solder, I will take it.
Q: What would you like to do after college?
I plan to attend graduate school internationally pursuing a Ph.D. in physics.
Q: Tell us one strange but interesting fact about yourself.
I can lick my left elbow.
Q: What first sparked your interest in Physics?
I joined the NASA Minnesota Space Grant and started doing high altitude (stratospheric) ballooning. I fell in love with the research process and switched my major as soon as I could.
Q: If you could have any pet what would it be?
I would love to have a Mosasaurus - prehistoric and deadly.
Q: If you had a free month and unlimited funds, how would you spend your time?
By purchasing as many large-company stocks as I could and becoming the majority owner for all of them.
Q: If you could get a grant to study anything what would it be?
I would relaunch the Galileo Project to study Jupiter's moons in depth. The varying environments are fascinating, and I would love to learn as much as possible with instruments that can get as close as possible to the moons.
