The LSUW is a graduate student-run organization within the Department of Linguistics at the University of Washington.

We gather in order to discuss issues relevant to the department and our linguistic studies. We perform duties such as organizing the department colloquia, nominating visiting speakers, planning social events, obtaining funding for department coffee makers, and other essentials of linguistic graduate school life.
