You must be signed into Teams with your @uvu.edu email address or you will not be able to get connected
Why book with the public speaking lab?
Research at UVU has shown students who practice their speech with a trained tutor receive nearly a full letter grade better on their speeches than those who do not. Practicing beforehand will also help alleviate public speaking anxiety and help you present with confidence.
How do the appointments work?
Appointments this semester will be offered online and in-person. Follow the instructions below to book an appointment. Be ready to practice your speech at your appointment time. The lab will provide you with a feedback form that you will turn in to your class for credit. If your appointment is online, you will meet with your tutor via Microsoft Teams (information at the bottom of the page). If your appointment is in-person, come see us at CB 505 A, B, and C at your appointment time.

- Go to our booking website
Visit our booking website https://booking.appointy.com/uvuspeechlab and choose which type of appointment you would like to book.

Make sure you put your correct email address in so you receive a confirmation email
4. Click 'CONFIRM'

If you do not hit the confirmation button at the bottom right, your appointment will not be booked.

This page will mean your appointment is confirmed. Use the links to add it to your mobile calendar. Also, make sure you received a confirmation email.

Instructions:
Microsoft Teams Appointment: Please do the following in order to get connected with your tutor.
Ensure you have the correct Microsoft Teams installed by downloading from UVU's website.
Log into Microsoft Teams with your @uvu.edu email address.
Search your tutor's name or click their name in the tutor directory.
Please note that no meeting links will be sent. It is your responsibility to find and call your tutor at your appointment time.
