Please note - To respect this special moment for graduates and their guests, and to be able to hear each name announced and to see each graduate cross the stage, we do not allow students or guests to bring confetti cannons / balloons/ noisemakers/ beach balls or other distracting decorations or devices into the stadium during the ceremony. As we are approaching the end of our school year, it is very important that you continue to monitor your student’s grades to ensure that they are meeting the 8th grade requirements. Students with more than 4 F grades may not take part in our graduation ceremony. If you have any questions, please reach out to the school counselor at 707-472-5258.
Ases will be doing an ice cream sundae party after dismissal on Tuesday, June 4th in lieu of the BBQ. Students may still bring any food or drink items if they wish that do not need to be cooked. Please remember that no water-launching toys are permitted and will be confiscated until pick-up. Water balloons are still allowed and will only be used during ASES when cleared by staff.
The ASES soccer team that is hosted by the City of Ukiah will be playing in their tournament on Monday, June 3rd starting at 4:00 PM at the City of Ukiah Sports Complex located at 905 City Well Rd in Ukiah
The last Day of ASES will be Wednesday, June 5th.

Eagle Peak Parents/Guardians - If your student was issued/checked out anything from Eagle Peak such as: a Sports uniform, Library Book, Textbook, or Chromebook, your student must have these returned by the end of the school year. We will hold yearbook and/or diploma until we receive all of our items. Thank you!
If your student has lost an item, please remind them to check the lost and found before the end of the year. Any items left in the lost and found after school will be donated.
Students with more than 4 F grades may not participate in our graduation ceremony. Students are encouraged to attend our after-school credit recovery program, where they have the opportunity to make up F grades. For every 12 hours attended in our after-school credit recovery program, students can wave one F grade. CREDIT RECOVERY HOURS HAVE CHANGED - Credit Recovery runs Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm, and on Wednesday from 1:30 pm until 4:00 pm. Hello everyone! ASB applications got sent out this week, so look in your emails if you're in 6th and 7th grade. Do you want to be part of your school community and make decisions regarding what happens on campus? Sign up to be part of ASB next year. Community Reward field trip is on Monday, June 3rd. We will be walking to Lions Park in the morning and returning by lunchtime (12:26 pm).
Please ensure that your student qualifies to participate in this Community Reward: no referrals since the last progress reports were sent and D+ or above in all classes. If they qualify, please sign the permission slip that your student should have brought home to you last week (5/27-5/31).
7th Grade
As the school year is rapidly coming to an end, please make sure to check Aeries for missing assignments and get them turned in as soon as possible.
8th Grade
8th-grade Science: It has been a full year in 8th-grade Science and we have learned about so many topics: space science; evolutionary history; student-designed science projects; March Mammal Madness; light and sound waves; forces and motion! Wow! We will finish up next week with a Jeopardy-style review and we will launch solid-fuel model rockets that some students have assembled.
**Many students still have their science project boards in the classroom: please plan to take those home any day next week!**

Please leave a voicemail if you are unable to get through, the voicemails go directly to our email and your student's attendance will be adjusted before the end of the day.
