Hi guys,

We hope your semester is going well! It is incredible how this Spring 2020 is going fast! Before letting it go, our university held its traditional Diversity Fair on February 12th, 2020. The Diversity Fair is an annual event organized to highlight the different countries from which the students and teachers of UTHEALTH come. At this event, students from different cultures in our department had the occasion to display their own cultural attractiveness. In fact, all the continents from Asia to Africa are very well represented at our school. This diverse environment provides us a good place to learn. This year, our association had the opportunity to get featured at the Diversity Fair in order to display a booth along with other school's associations. It was a perfect time for our officers to introduce themselves to students who did not know about us. We gave them some small gifts to express our gratitude towards them. Finally, one student from our department named Ginny (on the first picture) performed a ballroom dance with her dancing partner. It was her second time to perform at the Diversity Fair and this was a success! As you can see, our students are very talented. Special thanks to our department's chair Dr. Wu (on the second picture) who stopped by our booth. Congratulations again to all the performers! We hope to see you next year!
