Hi guys,

We hope you started your semester with a lot of excitements! As for us, we started our semester with a package of motivation ( not a R package lol!!) by participating to the speed-mentoring and back-to-school social events. These two events were held respectively inside the lobby of the School of Public Health, at the Houston Campus. Along with other student associations, we were able to display a poster and introduce our BADS association to the current and newly admitted students. We exchanged with several people about our mission and our future activities. If you stopped by our table, it was nice to meet you! Just before this, the speed-mentoring event occurred. Faculty members from various departments at the School of Public Health came to mentor the attendees about grad school life, research and career opportunities. It was very fascinating to see the professors mingle and share their experiences with students. Yes, our faculty members are the real MVPS!!! We are looking forward to meet you in our next events.
