2022 Fall Alumni Career Panel

On Oct 15th, our Department of Biostatistics and Data Science Student Association hosted an alumni panel discussion with the goal of preparing students better for their future career paths. We were honored to invite UTHealth Biostatistics and Data Science alumni back to our campus where they shared their experiences with our faculty and students. 

Elysia Garcia (PhD, MPH) is Mathematical Statistician in the Division of Biostatistics at the Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) from Food and Drug Administration (FDA). 

Heng Zhou (PhD) is the Associate Principal Scientist and Biostatistics at Merck and study the Early Oncology Statistics. 

Maxine Olefsky works as Biostatistician II in the Center for Biostatistics in AIDS Research at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

Abigail C. Sedory is the Assistant Professor from our Biostatistics and Data Science Department, at UT Health at Houston.
