Application for Altered Hours During Parental Leave, Early Years and Fritids

After the birth of a sibling the older child may keep the Early Years/Fritids placement with an unchanged schedule for 2 months.

During parental leave the older child has the right to 15 hours per week in Early Years during the remainder of the parental leave. School-aged children no longer have the right to Fritids.

If you will be working or studying during your parental leave you have to apply for altered hours. The application and certificates must be handed in and approved before the child’s hours change. The child’s schedule will be based on the parents’ work or study hours.
