CALL FOR PRESENTATION PROPOSALS:

The fall conference committee seeks creative, dynamic breakout session proposals that engage with the conference theme and incorporate the national AASL School Library standards. 

Formats may include…

• Solo or panel presentations (approximately 50 mins)

• Lesson plan demonstrations (approximately 50 mins)

• Facilitated panel or group discussions (approximately 50 mins)

+ Presenters are not compensated* or eligible for discounted registration.  Please register as an attendee at the conference even if you are accepted to present.

DEADLINE FOR PROPOSALS:  

MAY 31, 2026

Presenters will be notified if their proposal was accepted by June 5, 2026.  All presenters who are accepted should respond to the acceptance and confirm their attendance at the conference within 7 days of notification. 

Evaluation Criteria

All proposals will be evaluated using the following criteria.

• Contribution to the professional needs of teacher librarians and paralibrarians

• Demonstrates the profession's best practices 

• Clarity of purpose and focus

• Articulation of value for audience

• Fits the selected format

• Relevance to the conference theme (Preferred but not required)
