For the Northern and Southern 2025 Spring Mini-Conferences

Using the Submission Form, presenters may choose to submit proposals for either or both mini-conferences.
The mini-conference committee seeks creative, dynamic breakout session proposals that engage with the conference theme and incorporate the national AASL School Library standards.
Formats may include…
Solo or panel presentations (approximately 45 mins)
Lesson plan demonstrations (approximately 45 mins)
Facilitated panel or group discussions (approximately 45 mins)
Playground/hands-on demonstrations/Poster Sessions in the Curiosity Center (3 sessions of 15 minutes each)
+ Presenters are not compensated* or eligible for discounted registration. Please register as an attendee at the conference even if you are accepted to present.

Presenters will be notified if their proposal was accepted by December 31, 2024. All presenters who are accepted must respond to the acceptance and confirm their attendance at the conference within 7 days of notification.

All proposals will be evaluated using the following criteria.
Contribution to the professional needs of school librarians
Demonstrates the profession's best practices
Clarity of purpose and focus
Articulation of value for audience
Fits the selected format
Relevance to the conference theme (Preferred but not required)
