My family and me, 2020.
Welcome to Art! 🎨
I am so excited to dive into this creative journey with you!Â
I hold a Bachelor’s in Art Education and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction. Born and raised in Spokane, Washington, I've been teaching art since 2005 in all kinds of settings, from schools and museums to art studios and private lessons. I've also lived, taught, and created art in Oregon and now Southern Utah. I'm thrilled to be starting my second year with UOS!
As a working artist, I specialize in acrylic painting that blends abstraction, rich color, and movement. I have also taught adult fine art classes and managed a local art studio. I love brining that real-world experience into the classroom to help you build your own skills and confidence.
Throughout my life, I have seen how creating art can spark joy, build confidence, and foster well-being. I'm excited to support, inspire, and create alongside you this year.Â
Let’s make something meaningful together!
A glimpse into my own art practice. I work primarily in acrylic, drawing inspiration from nature, intuition and the process of discovery.
