New Private Certification Option:
For those unable to attend the yearly certification session at the end of the yurt work trip we are now offering a private guided certification option. If a guide is available on your reservation date they will accompany you on the trip into the yurt and help with initial setup and deliver a certification session at that time. This will allow TUNA members not previously certified to take advantage of the yurt. There is a minimum $250 fee for this service (the rate may be higher depending on the guide's availability and any additional services requested (a snowmobile to load in all your gear for example). You can request this service when you make your reservation.

Yurt Cancellation Policy
Because of the tremendous demand for winter yurt reservations we do not offer guaranteed refunds. If you reserve a winter weekend night, you have prevented several other people from using the yurt that night. Thus, before making a reservation please be sure you are able to use the yurt for those dates. If unforeseen circumstances arise and you are unable to use your reservation, we will attempt to fill that weekend; if we are successful we will refund your payment (less a transaction of 5% that we incur for our online payments). We can offer refunds for cancelled summer reservations. However, since making reservations and refunding payments requires work by TUNA volunteers, we ask that you be committed to use the yurt prior to making a reservation.
To request a cancellation, Peter Swisher, the current yurt director, must be notified. Peter can be contacted via e-mail at yurt@utahnordic.org . Once notification is accepted and the refund amount determined the TUNA Treasurer will issue a refund.
