Project SPARK is 3-year professional development program supported by the US Department of Education through an American History and Civics National Activities Grant. This program provides free, flexible, and fun opportunities for professional growth, travel throughout Alabama and the United States, and evidence-based professional development to improve social studies, literacy, and classroom management skills. Participants can earn a stipend through an innovative design that allows educators the freedom to choose which activities best meet their needs and schedules. Educational professionals district are welcome to join. That includes K-12 and special education teachers, instructional coaches, and administrators.
