Hi I'm Travis,
I'm the tactical officer aboard the USS Pacifica. I handle most of the ships weapon and security systems and keep everyone on their toes. I've over 15 years in the I.T Industry, primarily as a systems administrator. But more then that I have a broad work history that has afforded me the opportunity to hone many diffenent skills.
I'm also the proud owner of Haven Gaming and Pop Culture; a local gaming store specializing in all things trading cards, tabletop and video games. At the end of 2023 I closed shop and am currently in the process of moving the business to a new location. I'm taking my time to re-organize and re-evaluate the business model so that when I do reopen it will be better then ever.
I have a wide variety of hobbies (being that I run a gaming and hobby store) but outside of that I have always had a vested interest in science and science fiction which I think help shaped the person I am today. As a kid I grew up watching fantastic shows like Robotech, Transformers, He-Man, Dinoriders.. you name it! If it was science fiction or fantasy, it had my undivided attention.
Star Trek was actually part of the reason I survived high-school. Late nights and early into the morning watching back-to-back ENT, TNG, VOY, DS9 helped me focus and got me out of some tough breaks. So I'll always be grateful to a universe full of discovery and wonder.
Outside of SCI-FI I do enjoy anime, gaming and martial arts. Although I'm not longer practicing, I do hope to one day return to help improve my fitness and enjoy the discipline and focus it brings me.
Well... that's about all from me for now. If you join the crew aboard the Pacifica, I'll be glad to get to know you a bit more as well. (Provided you pass all of Starfleet's security checks and protocols.)
