WELCOME TO IST-IME 2025

We are pleased to announce the ninth edition of the biennial IST-IME conference, a collaborative effort between Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) in Lisbon, the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of São Paulo (IME-USP), and the Brazilian and Portuguese Mathematical Societies (SBM and SPM).

This conference aims to strengthen collaboration between researchers from Brazil and Portugal.

The 2025 edition will be held at IME-USP from August 4 to 8 and will feature 20 to 30 oral presentations by emerging Brazilian researchers, along with 20 lectures from distinguished mathematicians from both countries.
